Hey y'all!  Happy Tuesday!  I hope everyone is doing good & was able to catch a glimpse of that amazing eclipse yesterday (in person or on tv) - It was pretty spectacular!!  I'm already looking forward to it swinging around again in 7 years - I think we'll need to take a little camping trip somewhere along the path.  :)

The time has come to share more from this adorable 6 month session I shot a few weeks ago.  Sweet little Henry is one of the most smiley babes ever!  I guarantee his bright eyes & this perfect family farm setting will bring a big ol smile to your face too!  I don't really have much else to say - except that one of my favorite images ever is at the very end of this post, so just keep scrolling.

I have  been wanting to share all of this sweetness with you for quite some time now!

I have had the amazing opportunity to capture so many beautiful families as they grow (some even before mom & dad say "I DO") - it truly is such an honor & such a joy!  So, I wanted to put a little post together from one of my First Year Packages to give everyone an idea of how important & awesome it is to document all of the beautiful growth that takes place in such a short amount of time!  (I'll try to post a couple more families soon too!)

I believe it really is so important to have precious images like these to cherish many many years from now - right?!  & not just for you, but for your kiddo's too!  Don't we all love looking back at photos of us & our parents from years ago?  It's always good to have something to look back on & remember the joy &  beauty in these fleeting moments!

Cecily & Adella's 1st Birthday // St. Charles Family Photography

So, I was just thinking about these two adorable little ladies & realized that I never posted their First Birthday Session!!  Gasp!  haha  So, since they are so stinking adorable & since I've already posted their Newborn & 7 month sessions - I just had to show the conclusion to their wonderful First Year Package.  
It was so much fun getting to watch these two littles grow & change in their first year of life!  I'm sure they'll have their crazy sister moments throughout the years, but I think they will most definitely be best friends through it all - you can already tell what a sweet bond they have with each other.  I hope I'm able to see more of them through the years & capture them throughout their journey of sisterhood.

Lillian // St. Louis Child + Family Photography

This is Lillian - isn't she beautiful??!!  She is so spirited & fun too!  
I love getting to do sessions like this -  Letting these girls dress up & be a star in front of the camera for their 5th Birthday photos is so special & so much fun!  Remember the fun photos I shared from Karoline's Birthday session a little while back?   Spending time romping around with these little ladies is so refreshing...I hope I can do lots more like this!

When she told me she could do a cartwheel into the pool & I asked if she was going to, of course she said yes!  What a fun way to end her the session!

Princess Karoline // St. Louis Child Photography

Recently I had a mom contact me about doing some photos for her daughter's 5th Birthday & I was immediately so excited about them.  I get to photograph children all the time, but never really like this - the amount of fun & freedom I had frolicking through the park with Karoline (with no one else to focus on but her) was so refreshing!  
She got to change outfits a few times, wear her princess shoes, play with one of her favorite dollies & pick wild berries, all while dancing, singing, & laughing...what little girl wouldn't love this?!  I know I did!  I was giddy the whole time!

Thank you so much for allowing me to do this session for you Erika!  Karoline is a true beauty on the inside & out & it was such a pleasure to capture her in this sweet season of her life!

Cecily & Adella's 7 Month Sweetness // St. Charles Child Photography

Look who's back...Cecily & Adella!!  Can you believe how big they've gotten?  I have so much fun getting to capture so many sweet littles growing up - my cheeks were hurting from all the fun we were having during their session.  haha  If you want to compare this cuteness to how tiny they were when we met go see their newborn session here - Welcome Cecily & Adella.
Instead of 6 month photos we opted to wait until the girls were sitting a little better, & since they were actually 1 month old for their newborn session we figured it would be alright to wait a little bit...& it was perfect timing.  I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

Are you ready for this?

This little guy had me grinning from ear to ear the entire time I was with him...&...yep, I'm still grinning now as I post these images!  haha I had the privilege of capturing the beautiful wedding of this little dude's parents a few years ago.  & I was so excited when they wanted to revisit a spot where we did some of their engagement photos for his 6 month session - it was pretty perfect - just like their sweet growing family. 

Sometimes you just can't contain the excitement!

I love getting to share in so many special seasons for my clients - it's such an honor & a joy to watch them grow into strong, happy, beautiful families!

It's easy to see that the love just keeps on growing.  It was so good to see you again Steve & Farren...& of course meeting Jayden was a wonderful treat too!!

Michael is One! // St. Charles Child Photography

Gosh I love this family!  
I had the privilege of capturing Chris & Kathryn's wedding a few years ago & now I get to be a part of capturing their family as it grows - what a treat!  Their little stud muffin, Michael John, just celebrated his 1st Birthday - which is cause for celebration & a fun photo session too, right?!  :)

Chris & Kathryn bought this old chair & gave it a makeover by painting it a fantastic bright yellow.
& how fun is the chalk paint on the back?
